The YRD-210 Yale Push Button Deadbolt is a rugged, stylish mechanized deadbolt which can be added to your Zwave home automation network. Zwave deadbolts are great options to add to your suretyDIY Alarm.com Gold Subscription, giving you the ability to set up smart home rules in your Alarm.com account.

  • Automatically disarm your alarm system when you or specific users unlock the door.
  • Manage user access codes on your Alarm.com account at any time.
  • No more handing out keys to workers or extended visitors. Add a code in seconds, revoke its access in seconds.

As with all battery only operated Zwave devices, the YRD-210 will not repeat Zwave signals, and will enter power save mode when not in use. Expect a 2-3 second latency on Zwave commands routed to deadbolts when compared with Zwave lighting modules.

Because Zwave deadbolts enter power save mode when not in use, their range is more limited than with AC powered devices like light modules. Whenever you are planning to use a deadbolt further than 20 feet from your alarm panel, or when you plan to use more than one deadbolt on your system, plan on using a few repeating devices to improve the signal strength of your Zwave network.

Zwave Deadbolts should be learned into your network within 3 to 6 feet of your alarm panel. Maintain that proximity for 3 minutes to ensure the learning process and communication exchange is successful.
