Anyone have and experience/info on a heat sensor with rate of rise detection that will work with a 2gig panel?
The 2gig smkt2 and smkt3 are dual photo smoke and ROR/FIXED (135F) heat detectors. All residential heats to my knowledge are rate of rise (ror). In any event the 2gig are ror and can be tested with a hair dryer. If you put too much heat to it though, you will fuse the fixed element and that will necessitate replacement. So be careful.
