I would like to swap my qolsys panel for another qolsys panel. How do i activate it with Surety/Alarm.com?
In order to swap your Qolsys panel, please request the swap to be performed by submitting a secure message using our secure message tool found here. Please include your new panel’s communication module number. This video will show how to find that number.
When swapping both the module and panel (necessary in this case since Qolsys cell modules are not modular) there is more room for transmission error, but if you would like to backup and restore sensor settings of a current unit, please indicate that in the message. The old panel would still need to be signaling and the new panel should not be powered yet.
