Starting a service

I have a limited amount of time to actually be at a new location. I’ve purchased an Alarm.com 3g module to replace the 2g module inside a Simon XT that was used with another provider. Do you see a problem with purchasing the service a day or two before I arrive at the location or any warnings/suggestions that I may not be thinking about?

There is no problem doing so. Once your order has been processed by our team and you receive your welcome email, your module and Alarm.com account are ready to connect at any time. You can then, when able, install the module, power up the panel, and run a cell phone test to connect.

Setup and testing instructions will be in your welcome email. They can be performed at your convenience.
