Updating User Code Results in Already In Use Error

Hello, I’m trying to change the User Code on Alarm.com. Every time I try it says the code is “already in use”. It was initially the Installer Code, so I manually changed the Installer Code on the panel a few days ago. I thought by now it would be refreshed and I could make the change for my User Code; however, it still doesn’t work when I try. Can you please help me? Thanks

You are correct that none of your user codes may be the same as each other or the installer code.

Note that your panel may not have updated ADC on the current installer code when it was changed recently. Often you can force the update by running a cell phone test from your panel.

We have sent panel programming info requests to the panel to get the latest information. Go ahead and try updating the user code as desired at this time.
