LTE vs. 3G cell module in 2Gig GC2 Go Control panel

Assuming good LTE and 3G coverage exist, would there be any noticeable difference in performance when upgrading from a 3G to LTE cell module in a 2Gig Go Control GC2 panel? I’m thinking in terms of how quickly commands are processed and/or how reliably…

It would greatly depend on the 3G vs 4G coverage in your area. I don’t believe you would notice too big of a change with regard to latency reduction, (for that you should add a Go!Bridge) but going forward just as 2G infrastructure has largely been recycled, so will 3G. That’s a distance down the road, but a 4G module future-proofs the panel.

Thanks Jason. Latency is not bad, but always looking to improve the performance if the price is right. I’ll read up on the bridge to learn it’s features.
