I have a Door/Window sensor that I would like to have permanently bypassed. Using the latest Qolsys equipment (as of today), but can’t figure out how to configure a D/W sensor to not trigger the alarm regardless of Away or Stay modes. Essentially, I would like to setup notifications only on specific sensors never trigger the alarm if these specific sensors are tripped.
Happy to help. You would simply want to program that sensor as Sensor Group 25, Local Safety Sensor.
That sensor group will report status to ADC for activity monitoring/notification purposes, but it never generates alarms.
