Lets start simple. I have a set of lights over my kitchen bar that is only controlled by one switch. Said switch is in a very annoying location, so I’d like to replace it. Which switch do you recommend? I tried looking for a bit for your recommended hardware list, but couldn’t locate it.
Is there one I can get at Lowes?
Then with 3-way switches, do I replace both? How does that work?

Just replacing a single switch in the same place? Here is one you can get at hardware stores.

Yes, you would replace both. For those available at Hardware stores, the GE Add-on switch would be used with a Z-wave switch above.
